Trendy even in front of the altar

Summer is fast approaching and with it comes the main wedding season and the preparations associated with it. Apart from the venue, the band, and the flowers, one of the most important and especially most watched parts is the wedding outfit. And not only the bride’s dress, but also the groom’s suit. And now is the time to choose the right one.

The combination of blue and classic white, ivory or dark colours to the contrary - these are the trendy colours for this year. When choosing an outfit, every groom should also follow the motto “less is sometimes more”. In fact, simple and elegant weddings are "in" this year.

Tradition in the form of a timeless suit

The suit should, among other things, be tailored to the place where the wedding is taking place. If the bride and groom have decided on a church, the groom will definitely not make a mistake with a grey or dark blue suit. In the case of a garden wedding, where the whole event is in a "boho" style, a suit in light colours complemented by a perfectly fitting shirt is appropriate.

A stylish waistcoat instead of a suit

The trend in recent years is to have a waistcoat. This can either be used to complement the jacket or worn on its own, without the jacket. All you need is a well-fitting shirt and a stylish tie and you have a perfect outfit. The important thing to remember is that quality and the right size are paramount. If you are not sure about the colour combination, choose from dark shades of grey, blue, or brown. You can’t go wrong with a light blue or white shirt. The brave ones can also choose a contrasting waistcoat for the suit.

A jacket instead of a tuxedo

A wedding is one of the most solemn and often most lavish events. The top men’s formal wear is a tuxedo, but to wear one to a wedding would be a social faux pas, as this type of garment belongs exclusively to the evening hours. A jacket belongs next to a long-veiled bride, i.e., a long three-quarter length jacket, complemented by a smart waistcoat and a tie.

Jewellery for the groom? Cufflinks!

Is jewellery the exclusive domain of the bride? Wrong! Cufflinks are the trend of the last few years. The choice is rich, from precious metal materials to monograms or inscriptions according to your own wishes. They are great to surprise the groom with the evening before the wedding.

Whatever outfit you decide on, remember a simple but important rule - you should feel good above all. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and consult the experts, as the right combination of cut and materials will lead to the right comfort.
